Volunteer Agreement – PNG Federation Queensland Inc (PNGFQI)
The volunteer is willing to donate their time and services to Papua New Guinea Federation Queensland Inc (PNGFQI) and in turn PNGFQI is willing to accept such time and service by the volunteer.
In consideration of the above, the parties hereby agree to the following terms and conditions.

Services
The volunteer is able to provide services as directed by PNGFQI committee pertaining to the operations and delivery of the PNGFQI Brisbane Papua New Guinea Independence Cultural Day Celebration 2025 event as well as take account of other needs the organisation may have.
Wages
The volunteer understands the services provided is a donation and under no circumstances will expect wages, salary, or benefits from PNGFQI for the services provided within this volunteer agreement.
Supervision
The volunteer shall report to their supervisor on each day services are provided, for instruction and guidance.
Employment
The volunteer understands they are under no terms considered an employee of PNGFQI. The volunteer will receive no employee benefits including disability, pay, workman compensation, or severance pay.
Liability
The volunteer agrees to indemnify and hold PNGFQI harmless against any damage related to the volunteer’s activity. PNGFQI shall hold the volunteer harmless against any damages related to the volunteer’s service.
Jurisdiction
Any and all legal proceedings that may arise from this volunteer agreement shall remain in the jurisdiction of Queensland, Australia. The volunteer agrees that in the instance of legal proceedings they will cooperate with PNGFQI and its agents. The volunteer agrees to provide written notification to PNGFQI in the event that an incident takes place, while the volunteer is providing services.
Term
This volunteer agreement shall begin on 12th September 2025 and will end on 14th September 2025. The volunteer has agreed to provide up to 6 hours per day during the term of this agreement.
Termination
The volunteer may terminate this agreement at any time they deem necessary. PNGFQI may decline to accept the volunteer’s time and may terminate this agreement without prior notification.
