Stall Application

• Stall allocation depends on number, suitability, and submission timing.
• Choose "Craft (& Goods) Stall" for selling arts, crafts, clothing, beauty products, fresh produce, or non-perishable food (e.g. PNG biscuits).
• Choose "Food Stall" for selling cooked or perishable food.
• If selling both craft and food, you must purchase two stalls.
• Non-affiliated applicants pay $700 per stall (Craft or Food).
• A $210 deposit is required for Spittle, Rubbish, Soft Drinks and Alcohol Management of which $200 is refundable after the event if your area is clear of betelnut stains and rubbish and no soft drinks have been sold or alcohol found. (There is a $10 Admin Fee for processing the refund)

• Under the Workplace Health and Safety Act 2011, the Stallholder is responsible for the safety of yourself and others. Please visit the Queensland Government Workplace Health and Safety website for more information: Workplace Health and Safety Queensland | WorkSafe.qld.gov.au
• The SALE and/or CONSUMPTION OF ALCOHOL at the event IS PROHIBITED. Individuals and/or groups found in violation of this rule, will be escorted off the event premises by the POLICE. Stallholders found in violation will be required to close their stalls and will be escorted off the premises by the police.
• Stallholders are responsible for ensuring all food outlets meet both Brisbane City Council & Logan City Council’s Health and Safety requirements.
• Stallholders selling cooked food must provide a copy of your Food Stall Licence. (Please organise and apply for this, two weeks in advance with the Logan City Council. There is an extra cost applied for late applications. Please refer to the: Food Stall Licence (markets and events) application form (logan.qld.gov.au)
• Stallholders must provide their own marquee or tent (3x3 square metres (sqm)). No pegs are to be driven into the ground. Any damage to the turf will result in a $700 per sqm fine plus GST to replace and repair. All marquees and structures must be free standing. Use sandbags or similar weights that can be purchased at various camping or hardware stores.
• The grounds canteen will be selling HOT PIES, HOT CHIPS, HOT DOGS, SOFT DRINKS and DRINKING WATER. Stallholders CANNOT sell these above-mentioned items. Any other cooked food is acceptable.
• Stallholders that are cooking, are required to supply (and appropriately dispose of, off premises) small oil waste drums, and oil mats wide and big enough to place under BBQ stands, to ensure no cold and hot oil leaks to the turf. Any damage to the turf, will result in a $700 per sqm fine plus GST (payable by the stallholder) to replace and repair the damaged area.
• Stallholders will only sell the agreed items at your stall. Please note that food stalls only sell perishable food and craft and goods stall sell all non-perishable foods. Please contact the Events Coordinator for more information.
• A $210 deposit (refundable) is required for stallholders planning to sell betel nuts. These stallholders are responsible for cleanliness and management of betelnut rubbish/spittle around their stalls. The deposit is fully/partially refunded upon satisfactory inspection of the stall/s. Any monies retained are for the purpose of cleaning.
• Stallholders selling betelnuts must ensure plastic bags are provided for customers to spit into and stress the reason why to do so every time a customer purchases betel nuts.
• SALE OF BETELNUT without the purchase of a stall (including a $210.00 deposit for spittle management) IS PROHIBITED. If individuals are found selling betelnut at the event without complying with these rules, they will be asked to leave the event premises.
• Strictly one vehicle (as parking space is limited) per stall, and two complimentary gate passes per stall.
• Pursuant to the laws of Queensland, the sale of smoking products without a valid retail Licence, as well as the sale of such products at a temporary retail outlet, is prohibited. Any individuals found engaging in these activities will be required to vacate the event premises immediately.
• Ensure your stall allocation plot, is always clean

Note that if payment is not received by due date your stall space may be offered to another applicant.
